Earth Day 2022

Sustainability is very important to me

I try to contribute to a greener Earth as best I can (Every day and not just on Earth day).

• 💚 Most of my hats and other knitted items are knitted to order so there is zero waste.
• 💚 I source my yarn/wool as much as possible from Irish companies to support small local business, which contributes to less travel miles.
• 💚 I keep any scrap wool/yarn to stuff my knitted pom-poms so I have zero waste.
• 💚 I use recycled brown paper to package up my hats.
• 💚 I use recyclable paper labels/stickers.
• 💚 My business cards are made with recycled craft card with a paper label which is all recyclable.
• 💚 I buy my e-commerce postage boxes from macfarlane-online.ie whose boxes are specifically designed so that no packing tape is required for assembly and they are recyclable too.
• 💚 At craft fairs I bring along recycled brown paper bags to package up my hats.
