I will have a ‘Handmade by Sinead’ stall at the upcoming TSEAC (The Séamus Ennis Arts Centre) Craft Fair. Located on Main Street, Naul, organised by The Séamus Ennis Arts Centre

There will be over 40 stalls at the Craft Fair. Other small business and talented local crafters and artisan food vendors will be there. If you’re in the area you should pop in for a chat and check them out.

There will be live music on the outdoor stage during the day – The Blanchardstown Band, Naul Choir and Skerries Ukulele Band. Café will also be open all day.

I have had a lot of requests from customers about purchasing a pattern for my hats. So, I have put together some instructions explaining how I knit my hats. These are downloadable pdf’s documents which can be purchased on my website. There are a few different variations to hopefully suit most tastes. I will be adding more over time.

Handmade by Sinéad Stall – Enniscorthy Musical Society.

I am looking forward to attending my very first Enniscorthy Craft Fair, Co. Wexford.

The Craft Fair is Halloween themed so I will bring along some of my funky/fancy dress, costume hats on the day as well as some of my knitted autumn decorations, gonk gnomes and autumnal handbags.

There will be lots of beautiful handmade products by talented local crafters and small businesses, so if you’re in the area you should pop in for a chat and check them out.

There will be face-painting for the little ones as well as a costume competition 2pm – 4pm.

The amount of response for the Irish Cancer Society fundraiser was overwhelming, thank you so much to everyone. Thanks especially to all those involved in organising the fundraiser as you all did such an amazing job. It was such an emotional day but such a lovely event.

Earth Day 2022

Sustainability is very important to me

I try to contribute to a greener Earth as best I can (Every day and not just on Earth day).

• 💚 Most of my hats and other knitted items are knitted to order so there is zero waste.
• 💚 I source my yarn/wool as much as possible from Irish companies to support small local business, which contributes to less travel miles.
• 💚 I keep any scrap wool/yarn to stuff my knitted pom-poms so I have zero waste.
• 💚 I use recycled brown paper to package up my hats.
• 💚 I use recyclable paper labels/stickers.
• 💚 My business cards are made with recycled craft card with a paper label which is all recyclable.
• 💚 I buy my e-commerce postage boxes from macfarlane-online.ie whose boxes are specifically designed so that no packing tape is required for assembly and they are recyclable too.
• 💚 At craft fairs I bring along recycled brown paper bags to package up my hats.
